Winterization is a process that involves chill­ing and fil­tra­tion to remove waxes and other high melt­ing point sub­stances. Winterizing is also used to sep­a­rate the unsat­u­rated fats from unsat­u­rated fats-espe­cially in Palm Oil or other sat­u­rated fats.
